Brown Butter Elevates Everything

Day 362 (26th August)

Avni's in town! She's my cousin and she's come to visit us before she leaves for college to STANFORD Y'ALL (she's super talented :o).

I wanted to make something special to welcome her, so I made these brown butter chocolate chip cookies from Bon Appétit. Instead of adding toffees, I added a range of Green and Black's chocolates. I really liked it — I think the different flavours paired well together.

I broke a few cookies because I tried to perfect the edges when they were still too soft. Oh well. They still tasted delicious.
